How are we helping?
Serenity is giving back to the community of WNY. We are asking for donations to help
We are having a food & clothing drive to benefit Friends of the Night People. They have been established since 1969 by helping men, women & children that are homeless, low income, displaced. They serve meals every night, 365 days per year. They give away clothing to those in need, help with legal assistance, and health care. They do all this without relying on goverment assistance.
They are in need of winter clothing, jackets, gloves, hats & blankets. We are also collecting non perishable & canned foods as well as personal hygiene items.
Please bring in your donation & in return we will give you a 10% gift certificate off your next salon or spa service.
Last year's drive was a HUGE success~I had to make 3 trips with my SUV jam packed each time. Please help us out do last year's drive. They need our help.

We are a Locks of Love salon. Donate a ponytail of 10" or longer of clean unbleached hair & return for your generosity we will give you a new look & hair cut for FREE.
Serenity is collecting hair clippings & cleaned runned nylons to help protect the environment. They are turned into booms that surround & contain oil spills into our oceans. They are also turned into hairmats that are placed in the bottom of rehabilitaing animals that have been affected by the oil spills to help soak up the excess oil from their fur & feathers.

CUT IT OUT is a program of the Salons Against Domestic Abuse Fund dedicated to mobilizing salon professionals and others to fight the epidemic of domestic abuse in communities across the United States.
CUT IT OUT builds awareness of domestic abuse through awareness materials to be displayed in salons, the Adopt-a-Shelter initiative to involve salons in helping local domestic violence agencies, and training salon professionals to recognize warning signs and safely refer clients to resources.
CUT IT OUT was initially created for the State of Alabama by The Women's Fund of Greater Birmingham. Taken to the national level by the Salons Against Domestic Abuse Fund, a partnership between Clairol Professional, the National Cosmetology Association, and Southern Living At HOME.
